Ingredients

1 3/4 cups water

About 2 cups ice (enough so that the water and ice fill the blender to just below the 3 cup mark on the blender)

2 scoops chocolate protein powder (I use Vital Performance Protein Powder (I love it because it's gluten and diary free), available on Amazon here, which has 130 calories, 6 carb, 0 fat, 25 protein)

1 teaspoon peanut butter (6 grams)  (32 calories, 2 carb, 2 fat, 1 protein)

1/2 banana (59 grams)  (53 calories, 14 carb, .2 fat, .6 protein)

Instructions

In a high-powered blender (I love my vitamix!), blend the ingredients. Pour the smoothie into a large cup. I like to use a quart size mason jar and a wide glass straw
